To make things easier, we’d like to mention a few characteristics
common to Bed and Breakfast travel:
The inn’s owner is often your personal host throughout your
stay.
Most of our inns do not permit smoking or traveling pets, although
most have smoking areas outside.
Many are adult oriented without appropriate accommodations for
children, although some do welcome families.
Many of the inns offer private baths, but that is not always
the case. Some have shared baths or baths down the hall. Be sure
and inquire if you prefer a private adjoining bath.
Reservations are generally required and confirmed with a deposit
by check or credit card guarantee.
When making your reservation be sure to ask about cancellation
policies, since most are small inns with less than 6 rooms and
they depend upon advanced reservations.
Since most inns do not have a 24 hour front desk, please ask
about specific check-in times and call if you are delayed beyond
that time.
Many of the inns, because they are homes, are not Handicap Accessible.
Please inquire.
Breakfast is always included in the rate, but inquire about
availability of additional meals. Many inns also offer complimentary
snacks.
Notify the innkeeper in advance if you have any allergies such
as feathers, pets or dietary restrictions. Many inns have resident
pets.
Be sure to tell the innkeeper you found their inn through the
